Blue Dollar

The “Blue Dollar” is a lifestyle philosophy, similar to the “Green Dollar” or “Lets” schemes on land, in which one person helps another on an exchange of help basis and not on the basis of money payment. The “Blue Dollar” philosophy is a traditional feature in the yachting community lifestyle which should not be forgotten, in which one “yachtie” helps another and this help is then reciprocated by further help in accordance with other’s capabilities and skills.

An international cruising club in the internet, open to all boating enthusiasts. A cruising and yachting interactive website with a wide range of information, logbooks, tips, international yacht watch, the blue dollar concept, contacts, ideas and experiences. This website is a portal for the Yachts United members, and visitors to the website, who seek information, assistance and contact with others in the yachting community. A cruising club where crews can share their experiences and can help each other via the potentials of the internet. YU Members can download much useful information or print it in PDF format.
